Introduction
This proposal outlines the scope and delivery of a comprehensive Health & Safety Audit to be carried out by Flagship Partners, with a focus on evaluating the effectiveness and application of current safety policies, procedures, and responsibilities across your business.
Our objective is to help you gain clarity and confidence in the safety of your workforce, while ensuring compliance with legal obligations and industry best practice.
Audit Objectives
The audit will assess:
• The structure and ownership of Health & Safety within the business, including clarity of roles and responsibilities for accident reporting, staff training, and compliance.
• The effectiveness of communication channels for raising and addressing safety concerns at all levels of the business.
• Whether previous audit findings and action points have been fully addressed or require further work.
• The suitability and implementation of existing Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Whether current measures ensure the physical and mental wellbeing of the workforce.
• The company’s approach to reporting and investigating incidents, and how these are used to improve safety outcomes.
Scope of Work
Day 1–3: On-Site Audit
• Conduct site walk-throughs with key personnel
• Review documented policies and procedures
• Observe working practices and control measures
• Interview key staff at all levels to assess understanding and ownership
• Review accident and near-miss records, including investigation protocols
• Evaluate training records and statutory compliance
Day 4–5: Report Compilation & Recommendations
• Review findings from site work and analyse gaps
• Compare current practices against legal standards and best practice
• Prepare a full written report, including:
• Audit findings
• Completed and outstanding actions from previous audits
• A risk-based prioritised action plan
• Recommendations to improve staff engagement, communication, and ownership of H&S
• Optional debrief to present findings and next steps
Outcomes
Following the audit, you will receive:
• A clear understanding of current performance and gaps
• A breakdown of departmental responsibilities and recommendations for improved structure
• A prioritised action plan that supports leadership and team confidence in safety practices
• Evidence-based insight to drive cultural and behavioural improvements
