Proposal: Driver Assessment Programme – Urban Driving Focus

Overview:
We are pleased to offer a Driver Assessment Programme designed to evaluate and enhance driver skills, with particular emphasis on urban driving environments including mini roundabouts, traffic management systems, and pedestrian-heavy areas.

This will be carried out by a qualified and experienced driving assessor with an EDI Level 3 certification

Assessment Structure:

Introduction & PowerPoint Briefing (30 minutes)

Practical Driving Assessment (Approx. 1 hour)

Conducted on local urban routes with a focus on:

• Compliance with road signs and signals
• Observation and anticipation skills
• Vehicle positioning and control
• Roundabout navigation and lane discipline

Debrief Session (15 minutes)

One-on-one feedback highlighting strengths and areas for improvement
Recommendations for further training if necessary

Highway Code Test (10–15 minutes)

A short multiple-choice test to assess knowledge of:

• Urban road rules
• Mini roundabout procedures
• Priority rules and common signage

Outcome:
Each driver will receive verbal feedback and a summary report outlining their performance, any risk areas identified, and suggested development actions.

Ace Security will also receive feedback from the driver including the report sheet and any suggestions for future training where required.
